Dynamo defender Bobby Boswell and midfielder Ricardo Clark were named to the MLSsoccer.com Team of the Week for week one.

Clark played a hand in both of Houston's goals in their 2-0 win over D.C. United last Saturday. On the first goal, Clark was unable to connect on a Brad Davis corner kick, but was in a good enough position that his defender James Riley inadvertantly headed the ball past United goalkeeper Bill Hamid. On the second goal, Clark received a pass from Warren Creavalle and fired it under the crossbar to double Houston's lead.

On the defensive side, Boswell led a defensive unit that kept the United attack at bay for much of the match. The veteran center back played 90 minutes and made a crucial tackle on Chris Pontius in the first half to snuff out a three-on-one opportunity.

The Dynamo followed up their season-opening win with a 1-0 win over Santos Laguna in Tuesday's Champions League quarterfinal match. Houston is off this weekend from MLS play but will travel to Torreon, Mexico on Wednesday for the CCL second leg before heading to Frisco next Sunday for the club's lone match with in-state rival FC Dallas.
