With the Dallas Cup group stage now complete, the Dynamo Academy U-18 and Pre-Academy U-14 squads, presented by Statoil, have won their respective groups and will advance to the quarterfinal stage of the tournament. The Dynamo Academy U-16 squad finished second in their group following Wednesday's 2-1 loss to TSF Ginga (NJ).

The Dynamo U-18s won their first two matches 7-0 and 4-1 with homegrown signing Bryan Salazar scoring four of the team's 11 goals - including the golazo above. The team continued their strong play on Wednesday, defeating Pateadores 3-1 to win Group G with a 3-0-0 record and a +12 goal differential. Gian Carlo Rojas, Carlos Ibarra and Irvin Ramirez provided the goals for the Dynamo, who will take on Central California Blues in Friday's quarterfinal matchup.

The Dynamo U-14s defeated IMG Academy 3-0 on Wednesday to finish in first place in their group. Houston finished tied with Juventus Heat with a 2-0-1 record, but advanced to the quarterfinals with a stronger goal differential (+4). Luis Aguilar, Deniz Sipahi and Andrew Canales (pictured, above) provided the goals in Wednesday's win. The Dynamo will now take on Chicago Magic PSG Thursday night at 6 p.m.

After rolling through their first two games 5-1 and 6-3, the Dynamo U-16s hit a wall on Wednesday, falling to TSF Ginga 2-1. Houston got off to a strong start, taking a 1-0 lead into halftime behind Elo Ozumba's sixth goal of the tournament. Ginga fired back in the second half, though, tallying twice to send the Dynamo home early. The loss snaps a 10-game winning streak in all competitions for the Dynamo U-16s.

The Dynamo South Texas Academy finished their Dallas Cup run with a 5-3 loss on Wednesday to Ajax FC Gunners.
