With the excitement of the Houston Dynamo's 35-game home unbeaten streak, it is easy to overlook the impressive feat that Dynamo Academy U-16 squad, presented by Statoil, is achieving in the USSF Development Academy League.

Following last weekend's 4-2 win over Houston-area rival Texans SC, the Dynamo U-16s have now gone unbeaten in their previous 11 matches and have outscored their opponents 34-12 during that stretch. Elochukwu Ozumba (pictured, above) and Christian Lucatero each scored two goals in Sunday's win for the U-16s. Ozumba leads all Dynamo goal scorers with 16 and has two goals in five games this season. The win improved the team's record to 16-3-3 with five games to go in the regular season.

In the first match of the Sunday doubleheader at Burroughs Park, the Dynamo U-18s defeated Texans SC 1-0 with Jorge Contreras scoring the team's lone goal. The win improved the team's unbeaten streak to four games and improved their record to 13-4-5 on the season.
