The Professional Referee Organization (PRO) announced the referee assignments for this weekend's matches and American referee Juan Guzman will man the middle of the pitch for Sunday's Dynamo-Rapids match at BBVA Compass Stadium.
Sunday's match will be the third Dynamo regular season game with Guzman at the helm. The 26-year-old official was the center referee for last year's Dynamo vs. D.C. United regular season match at RFK Stadium (3-2 loss) as well as the 2011 match between the Dynamo and the New York Red Bulls at Robertson Stadium (2-2 draw).
In his career, Guzman has handed out seven red cards, 82 yellow cards and has awarded four penalty kicks.
Joining Guzman on Sunday will be Corey Parker and Paul Scott as the assistant referees and Armando Villareal as the fourth official.
