The Houston Dynamo will try to make it nine games without a loss at BBVA Compass Stadium when they host a banged up Sporting Kansas City side on short rest Saturday night.

The Dynamo (7-3-2) are looking to rebound from a 1-0 loss to Minnesota United at Allianz Field last Saturday. Romaine Metanire scored the lone goal in the 20th minute as Houston lost for the second time in four games after opening the season with just one defeat in eight games.

Sporting (3-5-5) couldn't build momentum off their first win in nearly two months, falling to the LA Galaxy, 2-0, at home Wednesday night. After setting up Favio Alvarez's first goal, Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his 10th goal in his return from a two-game suspension to lead the visitors.
