The Houston Dash announced today details of an open tryout for aspiring soccer players. The tryout will begin on Saturday, February 15 at Houston Sports Park and is open to female soccer players born in 1996 and older.
The tryout is comprised of a fitness test, small-sided games and a game against a premier local women’s team. Up to 20 players from the initial tryout on Feb. 15 will be invited back the following day for the game against an opponent to be determined. Dash head coach Randy Waldrum and managing director Brian Ching will evaluate all participants. Those identified as the tryout’s best players will receive an invitation to participate with the team during its pre-season, scheduled to begin on March 10.
Registration for Dash tryouts is $50 and includes a tryout T-shirt and a ticket voucher to the first-ever Dash home game (date to be announced later). Click here to register.
