The Houston Dash announced their 2014 preseason schedule today, with training sessions beginning on Monday, March 10. The schedule is tentative and subject to change.
The Dash will play women’s soccer teams from local universities as well as a scrimmage against the Dynamo Academy. The team will play Rice and Texas A&M at Houston Sports Park, and will take on Texas Tech in a closed-door scrimmage at BBVA Compass Stadium. In addition, the Dash will travel to College Station for a return match against the Aggies at Ellis Field.
The team will conclude their preseason training with a match against the Houston Aces of WPSL Elite as a doubleheader with the Houston Dynamo vs. FC Dallas match on April 5. The match will kick off approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Dynamo match. Fans must hold a ticket from the Dynamo vs. FC Dallas match to attend.
All Houston-based training sessions will take place at the Houston Sports Park (HSP). Matches at HSP are free and open to the public. The Dash’s preseason game schedule currently stands as follows (all times Central):
