BBVA Compass today announced two-time Major League Soccer All-Star and Houston Dynamo goalkeeper Tally Hall as its brand ambassador.
Hall, 28, will promote and support joint initiatives of BBVA Compass and the Dynamo, including their Building a Better Houston campaign, which kicked off in 2011 and has helped revitalize the city’s East End through a number of outreach efforts. Players and bank volunteers have rebuilt homes, volunteered at the Houston Food Bank and taught local students financial literacy, among other things.
“Over the past three years I have seen the work that BBVA Compass and the Dynamo have completed in the community together, and I am proud to be a big part of that this year,” Hall said.
In addition, Hall will promote the annual BBVA Compass Dynamo Charities Cup, which raises money to benefit the bank’s “Business of Sports” program, which provides workforce readiness and financial literacy programs to students through a partnership with Junior Achievement.
“We are really excited to work with Tally this year as a brand ambassador for the bank,” said BBVA Compass Houston City President Mark Montgomery. “He personifies hard work and dedication, and that makes him a great role model for Houstonians.”
The new relationship kicks off before the Dynamo’s season opener on March 8, when the team hosts the New England Revolution at BBVA Compass Stadium (TICKETS).
Last month, BBVA Compass announced it is the official Jersey Partner of the Houston Dash, the nation’s newest professional women’s soccer team. The Dash also play at BBVA Compass Stadium.
