The Houston Dash have waived defender Holly Hein, the club announced today.
The 22-year-old appeared in eight games for the Dash (seven starts), playing a total of 657 minutes this season. The former Michigan captain signed with the club as a discovery player in April after joining the team as a trialist in the preseason.
