The Houston Dash have added midfielders Dominique Richardson and Tori McCombs to the 20-player roster for games against the Western New York Flash and FC Kansas City on June 11 and 14, respectively, via the NWSL’s amateur call-up mechanism, the club announced today. The team has also called up goalkeeper Megan Kinneman for the June 14 match.

Richardson, 21, appeared in two games, starting one, for the Dash earlier this season before being waived on May 16. McCombs, 22, and Kinneman, 22, both trained with the Dash as trialists during the 2014 preseason.

The amateur call-up mechanism allows teams to add amateur players to their roster while national team players are participating in national team matches. Whitney Engen, Megan Klingenberg and Nina Burger will miss both the June 11 and 14 matches for the Dash with their respective national teams, while Erin McLeod and Kaylyn Kyle will miss only the match on June 14 vs. FC Kansas City.
