The Houston Dash have waived forwards Nina Burger, Rafaelle Souza and defender Kika Toulouse, the club announced today. NWSL clubs have until 4 p.m. CT on Monday, Sept. 15 to claim players off the waiver wire.
Burger, 26, signed with the Dash from Austrian club SV Neulengbach on April 30. The Austrian international made 17 appearances for the Dash in 2014, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
Souza, 23, was a second round (10th overall) pick in the 2014 NWSL College Draft. A native of Brazil, Souza tallied one assist in 16 appearances in her rookie season.
The Dash selected Toulouse, 25, in the 2014 NWSL Expansion Draft from the Washington Spirit. A product of the University of Virginia, Toulouse made seven appearances for the Dash.
