The Houston Dash have re-signed defender Stephanie Ochs and goalkeeper Bianca Henninger, the club announced today. Per team and league policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Ochs, 23, appeared in 24 games (19 starts) and tallied two assists for the Dash in the 2014 while making the transition from forward to defender. The University of San Diego product will join Canberra United of the Westfield W-League on loan until Dec. 22. Ochs also spent last fall on loan with the Australian club. She will return to the Dash for the start of the 2015 NWSL season.
Henninger, 23, made five appearances (all starts) in the 2014 NWSL season. The former Santa Clara Bronco was acquired by the Dash in a trade with FC Kansas City in January.
