Hello Dynamo fans,
After a great deal of planning and preparation, the 2016 season is finally underway, and our team is off to a fantastic start through the first two games. We are playing exciting, fast-paced, attacking soccer and scoring a lot of goals. Obviously, it’s a long season and many challenges lie ahead, but I am very encouraged by what the team has shown so far.
Your support has been tremendous through the first two games. The new Supporters Section looks fantastic, and I can’t wait to see it continue to grow in both its size and its influence on the entire stadium. The energy that Dynamo fans bring to BBVA Compass Stadium is amazing to witness, and I know that our players recognize it and feed off of it during the match.
Personally, I want to tell you how incredibly humbled I have been by the reception from all of you since our ownership group came on board last year. I know how much it means to all of you to have an ownership group who is engaged with the club and committed to building a winner on the pitch, and those conversations with all of you motivate me, as well as Oscar, Jake and Ben, to deliver that for you. Houston is where my heart is and always has been, and I want the Dynamo to be a club that our entire city can fall in love with and be proud of.
Again, there is a long way to go in this season, but we are off to a great start and I look forward to experiencing the journey with all of you.
