Dynamo forward Erick "Cubo" Torres scored in his second straight match for the Mexico U-23s on Tuesday as they defeated Pumas 2-1 in Mexico City.

After a goal in the first minute by the U-23s, Torres pounced on a rebound in the 51st minute for what would be the game-winning goal. Torres also converted a penalty in Saturday's victory over Club America. He started and played the full 90 minutes against Pumas.

The Mexico U-23s also faced Toluca on Wednesday morning, but Torres did not feature. The squad will take on Nigeria on Saturday night at Estadio Victoria in Aguascalientes, Mexico as they continue preparations for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
