Houston Dynamo midfielder Boniek García and the Honduras national team host Canada this afternoon in CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Kickoff is set for just after 4 p.m. CT, and will be available on beIN Sports 3 and NBC Universo. Live streams are available at beIN Sports Connect and Telemundo Deportes En Vivo.

Honduras and Canada enter the match tied for second place in the group with identical 1-1-2 records (4 points), with Los Catrachos leading on goal difference (-1 to -4). Canada defeated Honduras 1-0 in the first match of the group stage back in November 2015. Cyle Larin scored the lone goal that night at BC Place in Vancouver. García has played in all four of Honduras' qualifiers and scored a goal in their 2-0 win over El Salvador.

“We know the importance of the match, it’s vital for us,” García told CONCACAF.com. “What we talk about among ourselves is to win no matter what. We have everything in our favor … the weather, the fans. Their (the fans’) heat will be important and, obviously, what we are working on is to pressure them from the beginning.”

Honduras will face leaders Mexico on Tuesday in the group stage finale at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. Mexico has run off four wins and has already secured the top spot in the group. Honduras needs to finish above Canada and El Salvador (0-2-2, 2 points) to advance to the final round of qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
