Showtime for the Oct. 16 Houston Dynamo home finale against the LA Galaxy has been moved to 4:15 p.m. CDT, with an actual kickoff time of 4:28 p.m., Major League Soccer announced today. Showtime was originally set for 5:45 p.m. CDT.

Major League Soccer scheduled every match over the last two weekends of the season between conference rivals, and all of the games within each conference will kick off at the same time in order to preserve competitive balance as playoff spots are decided. Because of that, all Eastern Conference matches on Oct. 16 will kick off at approximately 2:15 p.m. CDT, and all Western Conference matches will kick off at 4:28 p.m.

The Dynamo-Galaxy match will be televised live on ROOT SPORTS Southwest Primary with local radio broadcasts in English on CBS Sports 650 AM and the Radio.com App and in Spanish on Univision Radio 1010 AM.

The Galaxy, featuring international stars Giovani Dos Santos, Steven Gerrard and Robbie Keane, lead the season series 2-0-0, but Houston holds a 6-4-2 advantage all-time at home. Tickets for the match start at $32 and are available at HoustonDynamo.com, by phone at 713-276-GOAL or at the BBVA Compass Stadium box office.
