Popular Houston band Wild Moccasins will headline the entertainment in the Bud Light Beer Garden on Oct. 9 for the NWSL Championship, the league and BBVA Compass Stadium announced today. Additionally, Indie-pop sensation Young Girls will open for the Wild Moccasins; and Kam Franklin, lead singer of The Suffers, will perform the national anthem.

The Bud Light Beer Garden will open at 1 p.m. and Young Girls will take the stage at 2 p.m. followed by the Wild Moccasins. A special Beer Garden package is available for the NWSL Championship for $24 and includes a lower level ticket to the game and two pregame beers in the Bud Light Beer Garden. Fans can bundle this offer with the final Houston Dash game on Sept. 25 for an additional six dollars. For additional information on the bundle, visit NWSLChampionship.com.

The 2016 NWSL Championship will be the fourth edition of the league’s title game, the first time a professional women’s soccer league in the U.S. has reached that milestone. At the end of the NWSL season on Sept. 25, the top four teams in the league table will qualify to the playoffs. Currently, Ali Krieger and the Washington Spirit, Tobin Heath and the Portland Thorns, Christen Press and the Chicago Red Stars have qualified for the playoffs. The final week of league play will determine whether Jessica McDonald and the Western New York Flash or Kim Little and Seattle Reign FC advance to the playoffs.

Great seats and ticket packages still remain with limited premium inventory. Fans interested in tickets can visit NWSLChampionship.com or call the BBVA Compass Stadium box office for additional information.
