Center of Excellence
Center of Excellence programs offer advanced training to elite male and female players aged 8-12 (goalkeepers 10-12) and provide high-level supplementary training and the first step into the Houston Dynamo Academy.
Players are challenged to increase game intelligence through application of technique in small-sided activities. Experienced and qualified Dynamo coaches expose and guide players to the level required for Academy level play.
The Center of Excellence training is held in the spring and fall at various locations around Houston as well. Summer and winter camps are held at the Houston Amateur Sports Park.
Consistent performers from Center of Excellence training and camps are invited to train at select Junior Academy sessions throughout the year. Top performers from those training sessions will be invited to join the Junior Academy, the following calendar year. It is recommended to attend at least two Center of Excellence programs.
Players registering for the Center of Excellence Programs receive:

Training jersey and shorts (spring and fall training only)
- Adidas ball and T-shirt (summer and winter camps only)

Player valuation
- Free companion ticket to a selected Houston Dynamo home game (with the exception of the winter camp)
