Competitive camp for the area's best youth players.

The Houston Dynamo Residential Elite Camp, presented by Statoil, offers an identification and recruitment showcase for the Dynamo Academy. The Residential Elite Camp will be held at Houston Amateur Sports Park with accommodation and meals provided at nearby University of Houston. The camp will include mandatory full room and board during the five days for all players; commuter registrations will not be accepted.

A new feature for 2013 will be the incorporation of at least one training session on the field at BBVA Compass Stadium, the home of the Houston Dynamo (subject to weather and field conditions).

Each player will be evaluated by the Dynamo coaching staff, and successful players will be invited to train with the Dynamo Academy. Players selected to the Academy will train under the direction of, and the Dynamo Academy and Pre Academy coaching staff.

New for 2013! Girls born between 2001-2004 will be eligible to register for the Houston Dynamo Residential Elite Camp.

Registration is open until May 31, 2013.

Pricing

$700 per camper
The 2012 Residential Elite Camp was sold out. If space is available after May 31, late registration will be subject to a $100 surcharge. After May 31 concessions will not be valid.

Additional Information

Meals
Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided on all day with the exception of Sunday (Dinner only) and Thursday (Breakfast only).

Housing
The air conditioned residence halls are located in Cougar Village on the campus of University of Houston, Texas. All rooms are double occupancy, single sex. All bed linens, pillow and towels are provided.

Staff coaches provide supervision as they are housed separate rooms in the same dorms with the campers.

What To Bring

• Soccer shoes and shin guards
• Sandals or street shoes for walking
• T-shirts, socks, and shorts for 2 training session per day for 5 days
• Soccer bag
• Water bottle
• Snacks (non-refrigerator foods)
• Toiletries including sun block
• Towels
• Small alarm clock or cell phone with alarm function
• Spending money
• Optional items to bring

Laundry detergent (card operated washers & dryers are located in the residence hall)

Things players should not bring:

• Microwave ovens
• Valuables 
• Medical Care

A full-time athletic trainer will be available at all times, including all training sessions and in the dormitory. Water will be provided at all sessions.  It will be mandatory for all guardians to sign a medical waiver prior to the player attending camp.

Additional Money
The camp price includes all the meals that the players will eat during the week. Additional snacks may be purchased at the residence halls convenience store.

Refund Policy
There is a non-refundable $150 registration fee for all applicants to this camp.  This is not an additional amount that will have to be paid.  It will be taken as part of the registration. There will be no refunds made less than one week before, during, or after the camp.
