Houston Dynamo Unified hosted San Jose Unified for the fourth and final game of the season.

Lia Ramos signed a two day contract as the honorary team captain as part of the Dynamo's Kick Childhood Cancer night.

Durkee Elementary, Holub Middle School and Las Americas Newcomer School received soccer equipment from the MLS Works, UniMás and Allstate's Every Save Makes a Difference program. Each school received $500 for every save made by goalkeepers Joe Willis and Chris Seitz during Univision broadcasts. Click here for pictures from the visit.

Community Family Centers received a visit from defender Alejandro Fuenmayor through the Dynamo GOALS program.

Dogan Elementary students received a special visit from Houston Dynamo Defender Jared Watts during their summer camp. Jared taught students new soccer drills and signed autographs for all.

Houston Dynamo midfielder Eric Bird surprised the Lamar High School soccer team at their practice thanks Papa Johns. The Lamar team is currently in their offseason yet still gets together to train so it was only fitting to reward them with a surprise player visit. 

Houston Dynamo Defender Alejandro Fuenmayor stopped by Elrod Elementary to speak to students about his career and the importance of education and living a healthy life. The visit ended with a soccer clinic and high-fives for all students.

Dynamo youth Programs attended Bayou Greenway Day, a local outdoor festival in the north Houston community, teaching soccer skills to local kids. The event featured music, food, a fun run and much more.

The second round of the 2018 Dynamo Charities Fire Sale was held on Saturday, March 24 at the Houston Sports Park prior to the Houston Dash Open Practice and raised $5,000, bringing the grand total raised during both Fire Sales to $38,000.

During National Nutrition Month, Houston Dynamo fans and staff volunteered with Brighter Bites to pack fruits and vegetables for Baker Ripley students in the East End. Brighter Bites delivers fresh fruits and vegetables directly into families' hands, while teaching them how to use and choose a different kind of fast food.
