Houston Dynamo forwards Alberth Elis and Romell Quioto have teamed up with former English Premier League star Wilson Palacios for a charity match in Honduras on January 1. The match, hosted by Wilson's brother Milton Palacios, will benefit the recovery of friend Geovanny Matta.

Elis and Quioto will captain one team, while Wilson captains the other. Honduran stars such as FC Dallas defender Maynor Figueroa, former San Jose Earthquakes defender Victor Bernárdez, and Necaxa defender Brayan Beckeles will comprise the teams, as well as players from Motagua and Real España playing in the second leg of the Honduran Liga Nacional Apertura final on December 30.
The match will take place at the Wilson Palacios Complex in La Ceiba.
