Houston nailed down a spot in the 2007 MLS Cup Playoffs with a 3-1 victory over the Galaxy. The Dynamo opened the scoring when Ryan Cochrane out-muscled a defender and headed a Dwayne De Rosario corner kick into the net for Cochrane’s first goal of the season. After the Galaxy tied the game, De Rosario converted a penalty kick and Ricardo Clark scored from a Brian Ching assist in the second half to secure the win.
