Summary

A frenetic six-minute stretch late in the first half saw the Dynamo go down 2-0, then rally to tie on a header from Chris Wondolowski and a long-range strike from Brad Davis, but San Jose countered with a goal just before halftime from Cam Weaver – who would later suit up for Houston – on a play the Dynamo thought was offside.
