Undermanned due to a rash of injuries to its oldest players, Dynamo Academy squads dropped both games on Sunday to Real Colorado, closing the road trip to Colorado with a 1-3 combined record.

After earning an important win the day before against the Colorado Rapids, the U-18s - missing 12 players and pulling up nine players from the U-16 squad - could not match the performance on Sunday, surrendering three first-half goals. Midfielder Christian Manisck (Awty) - just 15 years old - pulled a goal back for Houston in the second half, but that was all the Dynamo could muster.

At the U-16 level, the Dynamo started another young squad and once again controlled possession but struggled in the final third of the field, falling 1-0 to Real Colorado.

Both Dynamo squads are back in action next Saturday, taking on the Texas Rush at Bear Branch Park in The Woodlands.
