Dynamo Charities Cup beneficiary announced

The Dynamo and Salvadoran club Aguila were represented at a press conference Tuesday to announce Dynamo Charities' partnership with Corazones Unidos, providing the organization for underprivileged Salvadorans a portion of the proceeds from the Dynamo Charities Cup.

The second annual Dynamo Charities Cup, pitting the Dynamo against an international opponent each year, will be held on Saturday, June 19, at Robertson Stadium at 8 p.m. San Miguel-based club Aguila, which finished second in El Salvador this spring, will challenge the Dynamo.

Dynamo President / General Manager Oliver Luck began Tuesday's press conference by announcing the partnership between the Dynamo and Corazones Unidos. Following Luck's announcement, Corazones Unidos treasurer Wilfredo Velasquez thanked the Dynamo for their support.

Former Águila team captain Waldir Guerra also expressed his excitement over the partnership that the Dynamo have with Águila to provide help to those who need it in El Salvador. Also in attendance was Corazones Unidos president Jose Rivas, vice president Mauricio Velasquez, and the Salvadoran interim consul in Houston, ­­­­ Ana Silvia de Gallo, who expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to work with the Dynamo and Águila to raise support for Salvadoran charities.
