In dramatic fashion, the Houston Dynamo pulled out a much needed win Saturday night, defeating the Chicago Fire 4-3 at Robertson Stadium. Dynamo forward Brian Ching scored a goal that should get consideration for Goal of the Year in Major League Soccer. Head coach Dominic Kinnear believes it was the last goal that was most special. The win snapped a ten-game winless streak for the Dynamo and reignited hopes of a playoff berth. At a time when Houston was in need of a hero, Brian Ching answered the call. Three goals earned Ching Goal.com Best XI honors for Week 21. Ching was also named the MLS Player of the Week for Week 21. Goalkeeper Pat Onstad returned to the starting lineup for the first time since July 10 after missing four regular season games due to double hernia surgery.
