In heartbreaking fashion, the Houston Dynamo lost 2-1 Saturday night, on a stoppage-time goal by former Dynamo midfielder Dwayne De Rosario. Although head coach Dominic Kinnear said Saturday night that the team's playoff chances are bleak, he reiterated today that Houston is a proud team and the players will fight till the end.


It was a tale of two halves for the Dynamo, who played some of their best soccer all season in the first half Saturday night but were unable to carry that into the second half. The Dynamo remained in the 15th spot in ESPN.com's latest power rankings.


Goalkeeper Tally Hall was off the team sheet Saturday night after hurting his ankle in training, but thankfully the injury was not serious and he was back at training on Monday.


The Dynamo Academy was in action on Saturday and came away winless as both squads lost to the Dallas Texans in their first home matches of the season. Dynamo Academy players were also in action over the weekend representing their respective collegiate teams.
