VIDEO: Eskandarian Crossbar Challenge

A number of Dynamo players stayed late after Thursday's training session, aiming shots from the top of the penalty area at the crossbar. That, by itself, is not that unusual. This time, however, there was a little more competition than normal.

Bobby Boswell accepted former teammate Alecko Eskandarian's crossbar challenge (YouTube video) and invited his current teammates to do the same. To match Eskandarian, each player tried to fire a shot from the top of the 18-yard box against the crossbar. That player then had to hit the rebound out of the air with a full volley and hit it into the back of the net without the ball touching the ground.

Needless to say, things got a little heated, but in the end it was three of Houston's own Twitter users - Boswell (@bobbyboswell), Geoff Cameron (@geoffcameron), and Hunter Freeman (@huntfree) who succeeded. Unfortunately, Freeman's effort was not caught on camera because Boswell and Cameron were hogging the microphone after their own successful attempts.
