Dynamo midfielder Danny Cruz hosted a celebrity pour event at Cheerz Midtown on Tuesday to benefit his Cruzin' for a Cure campaign. Dynamo players, including Corey Ashe, Bobby Boswell, Geoff Cameron, and Lovel Palmer served customers, with all tips benefitting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Cruz's campaign has earned him a nomination for the 2011 LLS Man of the Year award. In addition to the celebrity pour, Cruz and the Dynamo hosted a player/bachelor auction last week at Drink Houston (click for video) and also offered a ticket package for their May 4 game against the Colorado Rapids.
