Dynamo midfielder Josue Soto, who is currently on loan with NASL club San Antonio, played 25 minutes as a second-half sub in the Scorpions 2-2 draw Saturday night against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. The appearance was Soto's second as a Scorpion, after the Dynamo homegrown product started and played 90 minutes in their season opener.
In other Academy-related news, Dynamo Academy product Daniel Roberts made his pro debut for USL Pro team Wilmington Hammerheads over the weekend. Wilmington tied Harrisburg City Islands 0-0. Roberts trained with the Dynamo first team during preseason but was not offered a contract.
