Houston Dynamo goalkeeper Tyler Deric has been loaned to the San Antonio Scorpions for their weekend match against the Puerto Rico Islanders. Deric, in his fourth year with the Dynamo, has not seen any first team minutes in 2012, but has started all six Reserve League matches this season. He is 4-1-1 in the Reserve League with a 0.83 goals against average.

In his Dynamo career, the Klein High School-product has two starts with two wins, both coming in 2010.

The 6-foot-3 goalkeeper started and played 90 minutes in the Dynamo's 1-0 loss to the Scorpions in the third round of the 2012 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Deric made three saves in the match.

Deric will join fellow Dynamo homegrown product Josue Soto, who is on loan with the Scorpions for the remainder of their season.

Following the match, Deric will return to Houston and resume training with the club on Tuesday.
