Help bring the USWNT to Houston

Over the next few weeks, U.S. Soccer will announce the remaining cities/venues that have been chosen to host the gold-medal victory tour for the U.S. women's national team. Currently, the only cities that have been confirmed on the tour are Rochester, N.Y. (September 1), Carson, Calif. (September 16) and Commerce City, Colo. (September 19).

Earlier reports stated that the women would do a five-city tour following the Olympics, although if they won gold, that tour could increase to as many as ten games. It's no secret that Dynamo president Chris Canetti and BBVA Compass Stadium general manager Doug Hall have spoken with U.S. Soccer about the possibility of getting one of the remaining matches in Houston at BBVA Compass Stadium.

Here is where Dynamo fans come in. Jen Cooper, host of The Firkin Soccer Show and the face behind Keeper Notes, has started an online petition to bring the women to Houston. Let's support the cause and show U.S. Soccer that Houston deserves to host a women's national team game!
