Je-Vaughn Watson Jamaica

Fans of the U.S. national team will be happy this morning, following the team's crucial 1-0 win over Jamaica in the second leg of their home-and-home series with the Reggae Boyz. Dynamo fans, on the other hand, might have some mixed emotions, as two Dynamo players were on the wrong end of the result.

Dynamo defender Jermaine Taylor started and played 90 minutes for Jamaica, providing his usual calming presence along the team's backline. Midfielder Je-Vaughn Watson (pictured, above) started and played 75 minutes in the 1-0 loss.

Andre Hainault and Canada fell 2-0 in the second match of their home-and-home series with Canada. The Dynamo's versatile defender started and played 90 minutes in the match.

Dynamo midfielder Boniek Garcia and Honduras closed out their series with Cuba with a 1-0 win at Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano in Honduras. Garcia started and played 90 minutes for Los Catrachos.

Jamaica now has seven points and is tied atop Group A with the United States and Guatemala. Canada and Honduras also have seven points and are tied for second place in Group C, two points behind Panama.

All four players will return to Houston and be available for the Dynamo's Friday night match against Sporting Kansas City (7:30 p.m., NBC Sports Network).
