Christian again proved to be a very important player for the U13’s this past weekend. His tireless running and smart decision-making have made him one of the U13’s most valuable players so far this season. He assisted on the U13’s lone goal and was immense throughout. A player with undoubted ability at a number of positions, we look forward to seeing more great performances from Christian!

Midfield: Alejandro Lezama, U-14 Pre-Academy

Alejandro, or “Pollo”, scored and provided great service in his team’s 2-1 win at the weekend. The gifted midfielder slotted home nicely from the spot after an opponent handball in the box. He was a constant threat and rarely conceded possession. We look forward to seeing more from Pollo as the season goes on!

Did you know? Pollo was made to retake his penalty not once, but twice! The referee called back his first and second penalties, before he coolly placed the third one in the back of the net. #Calm

Midfield: Johan Benitez, U-13 Pre-Academy

Johan scored his second goal of the season with a low drive from about 25 yards this past weekend.
