<strong>Goalkeeper: Johan Welch, U-15 Pre- Academy</strong><p>Johan was fantastic in his side&rsquo;s 2-0 win over Solar this past weekend. The young keeper showed great athleticism with balls in the air and was constantly communicating to his back four. One of the U-15&rsquo;s best performers so far this season, we look forward to seeing more from Johan in the New Year</p><em>Did you know?&nbsp;Johan attends Stake Jesuit HS. #Crusader</em>

<strong>Defender: Garrett Welch, U-18 Academy</strong><p>Garrett was yet again insturmental at the back for the U18&rsquo;s this past weekend. The strong center back put in another fine performance as his side went on to win 2-0 over Solar. He rarely loses an aerial battle and is always willing to compete.</p><em>Did you know? This is the first time two brothers have featured on the same Team of the Week. #Welch</em>

<strong>Defender: Adrian Mendieta, U-13 Pre-Academy</strong><p>After recovering from an early season injury, Adrian has worked hard and has become a valuable member of the U-13 squad. Although on the losing side on Sunday, Adrian put in a fantastic display in tough conditions. Adrian was strong defensively and pushed forward with a purpose, rarely losing possession.</p><em>Did you know? Adrian never mised a training session in the eight weeks he was out due to injury. #Dedication</em>

<strong>Defender: Louis Thomas, U-18 Academy</strong><p>The U-18 Academy captain put in yet another fine performance this past weekend. The young center back was instrumental in his sides 2-0 win versus Solar. He was forever breaking up play and neatly distributing from the back.</p><em>Did you know? Louis was also named to the Team of the Week in Week 2. #Consistent</em>

<strong>Defender: Tristan Brouwer, U-13 Pre-Academy</strong><p>Tristan has been one of the U-13&rsquo;s most consistent performers so far this season. Rarely does he concede possession and he is always willing to put his head in where it hurts. He is the first one to training, and the last one to leave, and has a fantastic attitude and work ethic.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><em>Did you know? Tristan hails from Canada. #OCanada</em>
<strong>Midfield: Juan Agredo, U-15 Pre-Academy</strong><p>Juan was fantastic as a holding midfielder for the U15&rsquo;s this past weekend. He showed a great range of passing, along with a willingness to work on both sides of the ball. We look forward to seeing more to come from the talented midfield man.</p><em>Did you know? Juan hails from Colombia. #LosCafeteros</em>

<strong>Midfield: Alejandro Lezama, U-14 Pre-Academy</strong><p>Alejandro, or &ldquo;Pollo&rdquo;, again showed well in torrential conditions this past weekend. The silky left footed player shows great composure on the ball and is also willing to turn up his sleeves and work for the team. He scored the lone goal in this weekend&rsquo;s 3-1 loss to Solar.&nbsp;</p><em>Did you know? Pollo was also named to the Team of the Week last week. #Form</em>
<strong>Midfield: Josue Palomino, U-16 Academy</strong><p>Josue scored the lone goal in his side&rsquo;s 2-1 loss this past weekend. Josue was not only one of the U16&rsquo;s top performers on the day, but has been one of the top performers all season long.&nbsp;</p><p><em>Did you know? Josue attends Dobie High School. #Longhorn</em><br></p>

<strong>Forward: Andrew Canales, U-15 Pre-Academy</strong><p>Andrew continued his rich goalscoring form with a goal in his side&rsquo;s 2-0 win over Solar. The talented forward has been on fire as of lately, helping propel the U-15&rsquo;s into first place in their division. We look forward to seeing more from Andrew as the New Year begins.</p><em>Did you know? Andrew has four goals in two games. #Finisher</em>

<strong>Forward: Carlos Ibarra, U-18 Academy</strong><p>Carlos scored both his side&rsquo;s goals in their 2-0 win over Solar at the weekend. The lively striker never stops moving and always makes himself an option to his teammates. He is deadly in the box and always manages to put himself in the right place at the right time.</p><em>Did you know? Carlos was the 2012 Academy Player of the Year. #MVP</em>

<strong>Forward: Bryan Salazar, U-18 Academy</strong><p>Although Bryan&rsquo;s goalscoring streak came to an end this past weekend, he was instrumental in his sides 2-0 win over Solar at the weekend. His deadly pace and quick change of direction was too much for his opponents as he ran them ragged all game long. Setting up the first goal with an excellent bit of skill on the sideline, Bryan was a constant threat from his wide position.</p><em>Did you know? Bryan has scored 6 goals in his last five games. #Deadly</em>
