Tickets for the first five Dynamo home games of 2013 are on sale now. Tickets are available here and at the BBVA Compass Stadium ticket office (2200 Texas St., Houston) from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Of Houston’s first five opponents, four reached the MLS Cup playoffs in 2012 while Santos Laguna won the Mexican League title last spring. In addition to the first two home games of 2013 - March 2 MLS opener against D.C. United and the March 5 CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal match against Santos Laguna – tickets are now on sale for March 23 against the Vancouver Whitecaps, March 30 vs. the 2012 Supporters’ Shield winning San Jose Earthquakes and the April 14 encounter with the Chicago Fire, a rematch of the 2012 Eastern Conference playoffs Knockout Round.

Purchase your seats for the first five home games of the 2013 season.

Tickets start at $24. In 2012, the first five games at BBVA Compass Stadium sold out. The first five home games on the 2013 schedule promise to be in-demand as well. The March 2 encounter with D.C. United is a rematch of the 2012 Eastern Conference Championship, a 4-2 aggregate series win for Houston. The Dynamo’s March 5 opponent, Santos Laguna, reached the 2012 CONCACAF Champions League Final and captured the Mexican League’s 2012 Clausura title. It is also the first-ever meeting between the Dynamo and Santos.

The March 23 matchup with the Vancouver Whitecaps is a matchup of 2012 playoff teams and the first-ever visit to BBVA Compass Stadium for the Whitecaps. The March 30 meeting with San Jose is another encounter of 2012 playoff clubs, as the Earthquakes won the Supporters’ Shield with the most regular season points in MLS. In addition, the Dynamo dealt the Earthquakes their only home defeat in 2012, a 1-0 Houston win on March 17. Finally, the April 14 match against Chicago is the first meeting between the clubs since the Dynamo earned a 2-1 Knockout Round road win over the Fire to begin their run to the 2012 MLS Cup.

The Dynamo carry a 25-game regular season home unbeaten streak (30 games in all competitions) into the new season. The MLS-record is 29 games, set by Real Salt Lake from 2009-11.
