Entering preseason, forward was arguably a deep position for the Houston Dynamo. The Dynamo had a mix of hold-up forwards as well as forwards who could stretch a defense, allowing head coach Dominic Kinnear some flexibility with his lineup choices. But over the past few weeks, the injury bug has struck Houston and the forward line has not been immune.

Cam Weaver has not seen action since April 14, Omar Cummings has been out since March 30 and Giles Barnes missed last Sunday's game against Sporting KC after picking up an injury midway through the previous match against D.C. United.

So with a chance on Sunday to erase the taste of last Sunday's home defeat, Kinnear will have more options to choose from with the return to Barnes and Warren Creavalle (pictured, above), a versatile midfielder who has missed Houston's last three matches. Both players are off this week's injury report, preseted by The Methodist Center for Sports Medicine.

Not surprisingly, both Calen Carr (left knee) and Cummings (right knee) are listed as out on this week's injury report. Cummings recently underwent a second surgery on his right knee and Kinnear told MLSsoccer.com's Darrell Lovell that it will be a couple of weeks before the Jamaican striker returns to training.

Goalkeeper Tyler Deric (left ankle) and Weaver (lower back) are both listed as questionable. Deric did some light workouts prior to Tuesday's reserve game, but was unable to start the match against Chicago.

For New England, the Revolution will be missing defenders Kevin Alston (Disabled List/illness) and A.J. Soares (Right hamstring strain). In addition, midfielder Kelyn Rowe (Right calm tightness) and defender Jose Goncalves (Right adductor tightness) are listed a questionable.
