He’s back. After spending the first 26 weeks of the 2013 season on the injury report, presented by Houston Methodist, Dynamo forward Calen Carr has finally been removed.

The dynamic forward is still getting up to full match fitness after offseason surgery to repair a torn ACL, but head coach Dominic Kinnear confirmed that Carr will be with the team as they travel to Chicago and Columbus.

Carr isn’t the only Dynamo forward with good news this week, though, as Omar Cummings’ condition has been upgraded to questionable, where he joins Ricardo Clark. Tyler Deric, who has a fractured thumb, is the only Houston player currently listed as out.

The Dynamo will, however, miss the services of Boniek Garcia and Jermaine Taylor for the midweek game against Columbus and next Sunday’s home match against the New York Red Bulls while the two are participating in World Cup qualifying for their respective national teams.

The Chicago Fire, meanwhile, do not have any players listed on their injury report for this weekend.
