For the sixth year in a row, former members of the Dynamo Academy will return to their beginnings to face off against the Dynamo Academy U-18s, presented by Statoil, in the annual Dynamo Academy Alumni Game.

The Alumni will feature first team All-MAC goalkeeper Fernando Pina of Akron and third team All-Conference USA defender Bradley Bourgeois along with other former Academy standouts such as Christian Gonzalez, Christian Diaz and Abe Matamoros. The alumni will be coached by Dynamo first team head coach Dominic Kinnear, giving him and his staff a front-row view of how these players have developed over the past year.

The Dynamo U-18s, led by Christian Lucatero, Jose Rodriguez, Elo Ozumba and more, will use the opportunity to stay sharp as they get ready for a short break in their Development Academy schedule for the holidays. Of course, the ‘kids’ in this matchup will also be looking to catch the eyes of Kinnear and coaching staff as they near the end of their time in the Academy.

The match, which is free and open to the public, will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Friday night at Houston Sports Park.
