The NWSL Playoffs were put on hiatus this weekend as international matches revved up across the globe, and a few of your Houston Dash players made their mark.

The United States took on Haiti twice as their originally scheduled opponent, Australia, did not send a team as the federation and players continued CBA negotiations. The Victory Tour resumed at Ford Field in Detroit and Dash midfielder Carli Lloyd scored in the 6th, 37th and 69th minutes en route to a 5-0 U.S. win in front of 34,538 fans (HIGHLIGHTS). Meghan Klingenberg also played the entire 90 minutes, and Morgan Brian started the match before being subbed off at halftime.

The tour rolled on to Birmingham, Alabama for Sunday afternoon’s matchup against Haiti, and the Americans picked up right where they left off. Julie Johnston scored in the first minute, and the Lloyd grabbed yet another hat trick before subbing off at the half. Brian played the entire match in midfield, while Klingenberg was replaced at the hour mark as the World Cup champions cruised to an 8-0 victory (HIGHLIGHTS).

Dash Brazilians Andressa and Camila also joined up with their national team as they traveled to Stade Océane in Le Havre, France for a friendly against World Cup quarterfinalists France. The hosts jumped out to a 2-0 lead behind goals from Wendie Renard and Amandine Henry, but Brazil was able to grab one back in the 80th minute with a headed goal from one-time Dash signing Poliana (HIGHLIGHTS). Andressa started and played 85 minutes on the night, while Camila—a late addition to the roster to replace the injured Darlene—was an unused substitute.

The Brazilians and Americans will square off against each other on October 21 at CenturyLink Field in Seattle (ESPN2) and October 25 in Orlando at the Citrus Bowl (FOX Sports 1).
