The Houston Dynamo take on northern rivals FC Dallas in the first of three Texas Derby matches of 2016 tonight at BBVA Compass Stadium. After starting the season with a 3-3 draw at home last Sunday, Dynamo head coach Owen Coyle opted to name the same starting XI and bench for today's game: Joe Willis; Jalil Anibaba, David Horst, Raúl Rodríguez, DaMarcus Beasley; Ricardo Clark, Alex; Andrew Wenger, Cristian Maidana, Giles Barnes ©; Will Bruin. On the bench are: Calle Brown, Agus, David Rocha, Leonel Miranda, Boniek García, Mauro Manotas, and Erick Torres.

  • The Dynamo used the same starting XI in consecutive matches for the first time since April 25 vs. Sporting Kansas City and May 1 vs. FC Dallas, a span of 27 matches.
  • FW Will Bruin will make his 136th career regular-season start for the Dynamo, moving him into a tie with GK Pat Onstad for fifth-most on the club’s all-time list.
  • GK Joe Willis will make his third consecutive start in goal dating back to last season.
  • GK Tyler Deric (right abdominal strain), DF Sheanon Williams (left hamstring strain), and MF Collen Warner (Bi-lateral hamstring strain) miss their second consecutive match due to injury.
