The Houston Dynamo will host the winner of San Antonio FC vs. Des Moines Menace at BBVA Compass Stadium on June 15 in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Fourth Round, U.S. Soccer announced today via a draw.

SAFC (USL) and Des Moines (PDL) will face off on June 1 at Valley Stadium in West Des Moines, Iowa (7:30 p.m. CT). Des Moines pulled off an upset of USL side Tulsa Roughnecks on Wednesday night with a 2-0 win, both goals coming after a Tulsa red card in the 66th minute. San Antonio, playing in their first U.S. Open Cup match, rolled past Corinthians FC of San Antonio (NPSL) with a 3-1 victory. Former Dynamo forward Jason Johnson gave SAFC the lead in just the third minute, and though Corinthians leveled the match after halftime, San Antonio regained the lead in the 70th minute and never looked back.

The Dynamo are 8-9-1 all-time (8-2-0 in Houston) in the national knockout competition, reaching the semifinals in 2006 and 2009 for their best-ever finishes. Houston has never faced San Antonio FC nor the Des Moines Menace in the competition.
