After another loss midweek at the New York Red Bulls, the Chicago Fire were looking for anything positive on Saturday afternoon. They got that with a 1-0 against the Houston Dynamo.

The win was just the Fire's second of 2016, with the first win coming on April 2 against the Philadelphia Union. The game-winner came early on, when Gilberto played a no-look through-ball to a streaking Arturo Alvarez. The Salvadoran knicked it over an onrushing Tyler Deric for his first goal in a Fire uniform.
