Houston Dash to Honor Our Heroes on Sept. 11

The Houston Dash will honor men and women in uniform at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11 as they host the Boston Breakers at BBVA Compass Stadium for their third annual Honoring Our Heroes Night presented by Michelob Ultra.

The Dash, in collaboration with Haley’s Heroes, will recognize the men and women during pre-game and halftime ceremonies. Haley’s Heroes is managed by Haley Carter, a reserve goalkeeper for the Dash and a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, who is also an assistant coach for the Afghanistan Women’s National Team.

The first 2,500 fans to enter the stadium will receive a Dash USA Koozie courtesy of Michelob Ultra. Last year, more than 800 tickets were donated to Houston-area military and first responders groups for the game. Individuals, companies or groups can support this special event by donating blocks of 10, 25, 50 or 100 tickets for local military and first responder families to enjoy the game at BBVA Compass Stadium on Sept. 11.
