September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and with it the Houston Dynamo are kicking off their annual Bald is Beautiful campaign this Thursday to benefit the Curing Children's Cancer Fund and Go 4 The Goal.
Alex, Mauro Manotas, Rob Lovejoy, Will Bruin, Raúl RodrÃguez and Wade Barrett will take a seat in the barber's chair at The Dogwood Bar in Midtown on Thursday afternoon as kids from the Curing Children's Cancer Fund and Great Clips grab the shears and shave it all off in support of those battling cancer.
After their fresh haircuts, fans are invited to join us at The Dogwood Bar for a celebrity pour featuring players and radio personalities from 4-8 p.m., with proceeds going back to Dynamo Charities for MLS' Kick Childhood Cancer campaign. Will Bruin will stick around along with Hot 95.7's Sarah Pepper and Ivan Trujillo and DK from the Dave Mahoney & DK Show from 4-6 p.m. to serve up drinks. Then from 6-8 p.m. grab a cold one from Raúl RodrÃguez, Agus, Joe Willis, Andrew Wenger, David Horst, Collen Warner, or the Houston Dash's Allysha Chapman.
