The Houston Dash wrapped up a two-game road trip with a 3-1 victory over the Boston Breakers at Jordan Field Wednesday evening.

Carli Lloyd returned to NWSL action and tallied her first assist of the season in the third minute of the game. The midfielder won the ball outside the box and found Kealia Ohai unmarked toward the far post. Ohai dribbled to the edge of the six-yard box and beat Breakers goalkeeper Jami Kranich with a shot to the far post from a tight angle.

Ohai scored her second goal of the game in the 33rd minute with a run that began at midfield. Lloyd found Rachel Daly near midfield; the forward’s first touch sprung Ohai to the edge of the box and her shot beat Kranich at the far post.

Ohai has now scored a career-high seven goals this season, all of which have come in the last six games. The team captain had previously scored four goals in 2014 and 2015.

Lloyd scored her second goal of the season in the 62nd minute with a 35-yard shot that caught the keeper off her line.

Boston's Natasha Dowie denied Dash goalkeeper Lydia Williams a clean sheet in the 91st minute. Kyah Simon found the forward making a run into the box and she beat the Houston keeper at the far post for her second goal of the season.

Becca Moros found Daly making a run into the box in the 14th minute that forced a goal line save from Brooke Elby. Daly’s touch beat Kranich but the defender maintained her pace to prevent Daly’s fifth goal of the season.

Brittany Ratcliffe forced a save from Williams in the 47th minute. The forward collected a chipped pass from Kristie Mewis inside the box and her shot to the near post was blocked by the Dash Olympian.

The far post denied Ohai a hat-trick in the 52nd minute. The team captain dribbled into the box and shot to the far post but the ball caught the woodwork. Denise O’Sullivan’s rebound shot was blocked inside the box by Boston defenders.
