Boniek García and Honduras hope to advance to the final round of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying tonight as they travel to the raucous Estadio Azteca to take on Mexico tonight at 9 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on FS1, Univision, and Univision Deportes.

Honduras (2-2-1, 7 points) enters the group stage finale in second place in Group 1. A win or draw against group leaders Mexico (5-0-0, 15 points) would secure advancement, but they could still go through with a loss in Mexico City. Canada (1-3-1, 4 points) could go equal to Honduras on points if they win against El Salvador (0-3-2, 2 points) tonight, but would have to make up 5 goals to leapfrog Honduras on tiebreakers (Goal difference: Honduras 0, Canada -5). Honduras also leads on the second tiebreaker, goals scored, by a 6-2 margin.

García entered Friday's 2-1 win over Canada in Honduras as a second half substitute, and has played in all five World Cup qualifying matches for Honduras this cycle. Mexico will be without Raul Jimenez after the Benfica striker suffered an MCL injury in El Tri's win over El Salvador on Friday.
