Excitement for the 2017 season had fans arriving early for Houston Dynamo open practice today at Houston Sports Park.

Lissette Cordero and family were the first in line at 7:30 a.m. (open practice begins at 10 a.m.). The reason for their early arrival, “we heard the first 300 people received a t-shirt so we knew there would be a lot of fans today.” Cordero and family attend Dynamo games during the season because her 11-year old son plays soccer for Texas United.

Not far behind the Cordero’s was Andres and Juan Naranjo who made the drive to HSP from Austin. Both try to catch as many Dynamo games in person since relocating to Austin.

Today’s open practice is the first opportunity for fans to see the many new faces on the team including A.J. DeLaGarza, Alberth Elis, Leonardo and Juan David Cabezas under the direction of new head coach Wilmer Cabrera.
