After last weekend's 2-0 loss on the road to the New England Revolution, the Houston Dynamo have dropped in MLSsoccer.com's Power Rankings, from No. 6 to No. 9.

This is the same ranking the team held prior to jumping up to No. 6 after their 4-1 win over the New York Red Bulls on April 1. Power Rankings? More like a Power Yo-Yo, if you ask us. Here's the breakdown from the editorial crew:

If the Dynamo can’t get out on the counter, how will they score goals? If they can’t defend effectively, how will they win games when they can’t score goals? Look for other teams to replicate the Revs’ approach. Wilmer Cabrera and Co. will have to adapt at some point.

The Dynamo will look to rise again in the Power Rankings with a good showing this Saturday as they host Minnesota United FC (7:30 p.m. | TICKETS).
