The Houston Dynamo are movers once again in the weekly MLSsoccer.com Power Rankings, moving up from No. 9 to No. 8 in the Week 11 list.
Back-to-back home wins have the Dynamo tied on points at the top of the Western Conference standings (with the most wins) and climbing in consecutive weeks in MLSsoccer.com's rankings. Here's what the crew had to say coming out of Week 11:
It wasn't pretty, but a win is a win and the Dynamo now have the most home victories in MLS this year. With five of their next six on the road, we will learn if this team is truly a contender.
The Dynamo have a pair of opportunities in Week 12 to take an outright lead in the standings and to further impress in the Power Rankings, with a Wednesday trip to the suddenly-resurgent Philadelphia Union (6:30 p.m. CT | KUBE 57) followed by a Saturday visit to hotshot newcomers Atlanta United (6 p.m. CT | KUBE 57).
